3x3 for April (No Fooling): Pop Levi, the Outline, the Futureheads

Put away the April Fool's whoopee cushions and joy buzzers, because we're getting down to some serious live music business. For the first 3x3 for April, Spinner has lined up a spring assortment of rock 'n' roll for your enjoyment.

In the first position is Los Angeles via Liverpool multi-instrumentalist Pop Levi. As his name evokes both music and fashion, it should come as no surprise that he plays a modern indie update on classic psychedelic glam folk. In the crucial number two spot are L.A.'s experimental punk popsters the Outline. They're not afraid to take a social stance and persuade you to dance to it. And weighing in at number three are Sunderland's finest, the Futureheads. Their music touches upon and redefines the post-punk styles of their musical heroes as only a band from the North of England can.

And once again, here's the concept behind all this: Along with a 3-song live performance by each act, there's a 3-question interview with each artist or band, 3 things you need to know about that performer and what 3 other blogs are saying. Only a fool would pass this up. Click here to have a look.
